In today’s podcast episode, I wanted to reveal what it was like for me as a 1st Generation Korean American to navigate the college admissions process. I also have a lot of insights to share that can be applied if you are an international student or a 1.5 generation student as well, so you’ll want to tune in and listen.
We’re also sharing another series of student interviews with our Passion Project Bootcamp students. In these student interviews, they talk about the importance of mindset and the specific shifts that they made throughout the Passion Project Bootcamp Program, and I can’t wait for you to hear from them here today. These students also share that they will be the first child to go to college in the United States, so I’m sure it will be insightful, relatable, and extremely helpful.
As mentioned last week, I’m on a mission to transform the college admissions journey, so once a year we host a live event for students and parents from all over the world. This year we are taking it to the next level with a free 3-part video series and live Q&A called The DNA of Accepted Students, where you’ll learn the 3 essential steps to get accepted into your dream college (even if you think you’re not competitive enough). You can watch the first video starting June 20th, with the other videos releasing on June 21st and 22nd, and then on June 22nd at 5 pm Pacific/8 pm Eastern I’ll be doing a live Q&A on Zoom to answer your specific questions.
Registration is FREE and now open at https://passionprep.com/accepted. This is an amazing event that I don’t want you to miss out on, because not only will it transform the way you approach your college admissions journey as a high school student, but also the way you live your life!
Our signature 1-Year Group College Consulting Program, Passion Project Bootcamp, is currently closed for enrollment, but will be opening enrollment in June! To get added to the waitlist and be the first notified, go to https://passionprep.com/ppbcwaitlist!
